During TNA’s weekend house shows in the New York City/Long Island area, Team 3D teased an angle where they were considering heading back to WWE. They told the fans at Friday’s house show that they would have a special announcement at Saturday’s house show about the future of Team 3D or the Dudleys. At Saturday’s house show Team 3D “announced” that they decided to stay with TNA.
Most online commentators are stating that there was never a door opened for the team to return to WWE. In any event, this was a fun little angle for Team 3D to use as they returned to their part of the country.

I recommend everybody read what Randy Orton had to say about Big Bubba Dudley in a recent WrestleCast interview:
“I never liked him,” Orton said of Bubba. “I never liked what he did because he only thought of himself. In the match my foot was broken, it was his fault… Bubba Dudley is the most out of shape, fat, non-work-ethic-having person I knew. And you had a bad taste in your mouth when you met him.”
This, combined with tons of other tag-team wrestlers complaining in the past that Bubba laid out matches to make himself look good only, makes me think there is a reason the Dudleyz can’t even smell WWE anymore. I recall plenty of backstage accidents with the Dudleyz due to Bubba’s “booking” or his stiff work, specifically a backstage fight with Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Not to mention this ridiculous gimmick where they tried to “work” the boys and the fans they’re going to WWE. Yeah, right!
