WWE has three house shows this weekend before the SmackDown/Raw Supershow on Sunday where they will tape next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
The Raw brand has a show tonight at the U.S.Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The following matches are being advertised for the show: World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Kane, ECW Champion Mark Henry (with Tony Atlas) vs. Matt Hardy, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella vs. Kofi Kingston, and World Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes vs. Cryme Tyme. No word on why Mark Henry and Matt Hardy are advertised for the show other than they are the only ECW names promoted on the Raw brand show.
Raw will be at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois tomorrow for an evening show at 5 PM as the same matches that were listed above are being advertised for the show. Mark Henry will also defend the ECW Championship at the show against Matt Hardy.
The SmackDown/ECW crews will have an evening show tomorrow evening at 5 PM at the Convocation Center at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. WWE Champion Triple H & Undertaker vs. The Great Khali & MVP is being advertised as the main event.
WWE will tape next week’s edition of Raw and next week’s edition of SmackDown from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday night with a 7 PM bell time. Wrestling News World will have live play-by-play coverage from the tapings as next week’s edition of ECW was taped this past Tuesday night from Pittsburgh.
