After WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air, Batista and John Cena continued their staredown before John Cena left the ring. Batista then picked up the mic and explained how he was bouncing just two blocks away eight years ago and he never thought he’d be in the position he’s in now. He said he loves Washington, DC and he loves the fans. He also added that he was glad to be back home for the night and thanked the fans for the hometown support.
There wasn’t any physical interaction between Batista and John Cena after Raw went off the air. There also wasn’t anything involving the new Raw General Manager Mike Adamle after the show went off-air.
