Sherdog is reporting that Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson will be returning to the cage for EliteXC on October 4 at at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla. on CBS (30 miles away from Kimbo’s hometown of Miami, Fla.).
Of the fight, Kimbo Slice had the following to say:
“Fighting back at home, again, for the second time, is going to be great,” Ferguson said. “Way more fans this time, way more friends. We’re going to do it again, and hopefully, I’ll pull off another victory … win by another KO and have a bigger party this time. I’m not sure who I’m fighting yet, but I’m looking forward to a hard fight.”
At this time, no opponents have been named for him, but Sherdog is reporting that Bodog Fight veteran Kelly Kobald and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos have surfaced as leading candidates.

I’d really like to see Kimbo go up against Kobald. And if he does, one thing is for sure- Kimbo better fix those problems in his fighting that were exposed last go ’round.
