Just got in from the Supershow at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA (front row seats…got comped through my job). Hear are the quick results:
Evan Bourne defeated Mike Knox (shooting star press).
Miz and Morrison defeated Ryder/Hawkins, Jesse/Festus and Finlay/Hornswoggle in a fatal fourway WWE Tag Team Championship match (John Morrison pinned Jesse after catching him in mid-air with a dropkick as Jesse came off the top rope). After the match, Finlay laid out Jesse and Festus with the shillelagh.
Diva Best Body foolishness ends in a no-contest as a catfight breaks out between most of the participants (Jillian, Maryse, Layla, Lena) after Jillian takes the mic and begins to “sing”…Kelly Kelly poses for the crowd afterward.
Mark Henry (w. Tony Atlas) defeated Tommy Dreamer in an ECW Title match.
Triple H and the Big Show defeated the Great Khali and Umaga (Triple H pinned the Great Khali after a Pedigree).
Kofi Kingston defeated Paul Burchill (with Katie Lea) in an Intercontinental Championship match (Trouble In Paradise).
The Hardyz defeated Shelton Benjamin and MVP (Jeff pinned MVP after a Twist of Fate follwed by the Swanton). Shelton and MVP argued much of the match, and teased a fight after the match ended, but ultimately hugged and left the ring.
CM Punk defeated Batista in a No-Disqualification World Heavyweight Championship match after Batista attempts a spear, but Punk puts up a steel chair to absorb the blow. After the match, Batista lays out Punk with the Batista Bomb (way to put your world champion over, WWE). After Batista leaves, Punk gets up and heads to the back slowly to a decent ovation.
