We took a vacation last week to help Aunt Thelma – her town is so small (how small is it? Glad you asked), rather than pave the streets we helped carpet them!
And speaking of towns, Booker T became the new TNA world champ at Sunday’s “Victory Road” event, winning the crown in his hometown of Houston but he needed Sting to go to bat for him.
Booker battled champ Samoa Joe from the opening bell to the end, so let’s fast-forward to that part.
After KO’ing the ref, Joe was battering Booker when the lights went out (luckily they weren’t in Georgia) and when they came back on, there stood Sting. Obviously miffed at not being invited to the Home Run Derby, Sting brought his bat to the ring and took a swing. Unfortunately Joe was in the way and got knocked unconscious. With the ref still out cold, Booker’s wife, Sharmell, ran to the ring, rolled hubby on top of Joe and personally counted to three and left the ring with the belt. The TNA rules committee (located above the Dairy Queen) might investigate this one.
The TNA camp has added a new camper – former WWE star Daivari.
“Ashley’s gone.” No it’s not a line from “Gone With The Wind,” diva Ashley Massaro is gone from the WWE.
And speaking of gone, so is Trevor Murdoch, recently drafted to “Smackdown.” Maybe he should have attended the combine.
