– WWE has another full weekend of house shows this weekend. The Raw brand kicks off their weekend tonight with a show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The advertised main event for the show is World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Batista. Other names advertised include John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Cryme Tyme, Santino Marella, Beth Phoenix, and Mickie James. Raw will be at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia tomorrow night and will conclude their weekend on Sunday with a show at the Roanoke Civic Center Coliseum in Roanoke, Virginia.
– The SmackDown/ECW crews will begin their weekend tomorrow night with a house show in Savannah, Georgia at the Savannah Civic Center. Advertised matches for the show include Jeff Hardy vs. Edge, Tommy Dreamer vs. ECW Champion Mark Henry, United States Champion Matt Hardy vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin, and Kennedy vs. The Great Khali. WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison, Finlay, Hornswoggle, Michelle McCool, Jesse & Festus, and Victoria are also listed in promotional material. On Sunday, SmackDown and ECW will run a show at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia and will conclude their house show run with a show Monday night at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
