Last night I attended the Smackdown event in Auckland and this is how it went down:
1. Shane McMahon announces Undertaker will be starting his Farewell Tour tonight
2. Matt Hardy beat Chuck Palumbo
3. Michelle McCool beat Victoria (FUNAKI special REF)
4. MVP V.I.P lounge – first time the lounge has been international, special guest’s Bushwacker Butch and Tony Garea
5. Morrison and Miz beat Hornswoggle and Finlay
6. CM Punk beat Chavo Guerro
7. Kofi Kingston beat Shelton Benjimin
8. Kane and Undertaker beat Mark Henry and Khali
9. Kozlov beat the hell out of Shannon Moore
10. Edge beat Batista
Notes: The Undertaker gets the biggest pop as expected and Punk in at a close second, Batista suprisingly was booed throughout by the majority of the arena and after his match with Edge both men were tombstoned much to the crowds pleasure.
Shane McMahon got a nice pop as well and Kofi Kingston limped out of his match after landing awkwardly after Benjamin’s Pay Dirt finisher.
Over all the crowd was hot all night and it was a enjoyable show.
