— At the WWE stockholders meeting two weeks ago, one stockholder complained about the Edge & Vickie Guerrero storyline on SmackDown to Vince McMahon. The stockholder asked where WWE was going to draw the line on it. In what appears to be a hint to where it’s going, McMahon said that it was a love and relationship story, but that it may not turn out like one in the end. McMahon then went on a tangent saying how in real life, everyone isn’t all good or evil, but rather, shades of gray.
— At the stockholders meeting, McMahon was also asked about Congress possibly investigating the company. McMahon replied, “I doubt they’ll want to bring us in,” saying that if they do, it won’t be good for them because they’ll quickly find out that the company is “as clean as a whistle.”
— Regarding Triple H and the upcoming Marvel Studios movie Thor, the originally scheduled director of the film, Matthew Vaughn, won’t be producing it. Vaughn’s holding deal with the studio expired in December, but this news didn’t come out until a few weeks ago. Vaughn was firmly against casting Triple H for the lead role in the movie. The flick is scheduled to be released in a little more than two years on June 4, 2010.
