The Daily Star out of Great Britain interviewed Kevin Nash. In this interview Nash discusses WCW losing money, TNA’s business model, the upcoming tour, comparing it to the WWE style of touring and more.
–Kevin Nash recently spoke to the Daily Star out of the UK. The following are the highlights:
On TNA’s business model: “I think the thing is they had a plan and they didn’t want to grow too fast. They set modest goals along the way. Now they’re in a position where they are going to make a profit, which is huge. The first 4 years I was in WCW we lost 30 or 40 million dollars a year. The business plan is correct, TNA didn’t over grow. It’s very important to go to the UK. To me, if I was going to the UK I’d do 12 stops like the old WWE days, Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester. I haven’t been back in a few years, so hopefully I’m on the tour.”
On Samoa Joe: “It’s time to take someone who grew in the TNA system, and make him the corner piece of the promotion. He’s unique as a character, he’s believable, he’s a credible guy, he’s so different to most guys in this business. I hope it works out for him.”
