Wow I thought I had my predictions for Judgment Day down pat. But after reading tons of rumors I’m starting to rethink two of my picks. I know they are just rumors, but the rumors along with the way things have shaped up on Smackdown and Raw definitely makes me think that I might change my mind. I’ll explain this more when I get into those two matches. Okay so let me share my predictions with you, and I have received enjoyed reading so many of yours, so please keep them coming there’s still plenty of time before the show.
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
This one was added I want to say late Friday night. Although WWE.com still doesn’t have this one listed. I will consider it on the show, and I will keep this short, and I mean short. Big Show wins and I would expect this to be the worst of the evening.
Winner: Big Show
Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Melina for the WWE Women’s Title
This could be a good match, a very good match. I’m anxious to see if Melina’s character has really changed. I know a lot of my readers along with myself can’t wait for Melina to turn, but I won’t believe it until I see it. I really believe that there are three capable and talented women in this match and I am looking forward to seeing Mickie win and keep that title.
Winner: Mickie
Miz and John Morrison vs. Kane and C.M. Punk for the WWE Tag Titles.
Now before I watched ECW this week, I was picking one of my favorite tag teams, The Miz and John Morrison. However, after watching Tuesday’s show, I have to go with Kane and CM for the win. I look at it this way, Punk was defeated by Miz and later in the show Morrison beat Kane. I just can’t believe or maybe I don’t want to believe that ECW’s champion Kane and the MITB winner Punk will lose again to this duo. I have wanted to mention this for a while but I cannot get over how weak and how much credibility has been taken from Punk since he won the prestigious MITB match at Wrestlemania. He seems to lose more than he wins, and it’s that loss to the Miz that makes me want to see Kane and Punk get those titles tonight. Now let me just say this, Kane and Punk teaming up and becoming the tag team champs is something they certainly don’t need, but as I said you can’t keep beating the champion and the MITB winner to me that makes no sense at all. I have to tell you; I’m expecting this to be a damn good match.
Winner: Punk and Kane
John Cena vs. JBL.
I don’t expect much from this match, but Cena and JBL did go at it many times on Smackdown and the matches weren’t too bad, so maybe this one will be entertaining. To be honest with you, I would have preferred a gimmick match. I have to go with Cena for the win and maybe this feud will end tonight and Cena will move on.
Winner: John Cena
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Listen this is a match that should be the show stealer. However I have one major concern. I think it’s pretty certain that Batista is going to get involved and go after HBK. My only thing is I would love this match to have a decent amount of time so that the fans can really enjoy it and get into it. Michaels and Jericho gave us a five star match at Wrestlemania XIX, and the thought of seeing these two tonight just thrills me. This could be the match of the night if time is on their side. I do see Batista taking out Shawn Michaels and Jericho benefiting from the interference.
Winner: Chris Jericho
Undertaker vs. Edge for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship
Okay so here’s one of the matches that I was very certain about. But after reading the rumors, and the way the angle has been played out I definitely feel I have to change my pick. I was going with The Undertaker. When Taker was stripped of the title right away I figured he would get it back tonight, but the rumor going around is that Vince McMahon feels that Edge is better as the champion than as the guy chasing it. So I’m starting to think that maybe the real reason why they took the title from Taker was not only to give it back to Edge, but maybe Taker is looking for time off, OR maybe Taker is winning tonight and I shouldn’t believe what I read. Well I am going to change and go with Edge, and I have to be honest with you, even though I really loved their match at Backlash, I wouldn’t mind if this feud ends after tonight.
Winner: Edge
Triple H vs. Randy Orton cage match for the WWE Title
And this is the other match where I was so sure that Hunter was going to win. But I can’t say I’m 100 percent sure now. After Monday’s show we saw Hunter standing at the top of the cage looking down at Randy Orton who was outside of the cage on the floor. For me that was Hunter having the upper hand. At that moment I thought Triple H is losing on Sunday. Now I’m reading many views where they feel he is losing so Orton can get it back, which will just show how much Vince believes in Orton and how getting the title back will cement his status as Raw’s top heel. I’m not going to change my pick, I will stick with Triple H, but if Orton wins at least I won’t be in shock. Since this is a cage match I have a feeling that Orton and Hunter will make this something to see and one of the best matches of the night.
Winner: Triple H
Okay so there you have it, and I just read that there is a chance that a Jeff Hardy vs. MVP match will be added tonight. If that’s the case well you know I have to go with Jeff. I am definitely ordering the show and I hope it rates right up there with Backlash. I will be back on Tuesday with my thoughts on tonight’s pay per view, and on Raw, and hopefully I will be gushing over both shows.

I like your picks, Linda. Something inside me is thinking that Batista won’t just simply interfere with the match…. my gut is telling me to look out for a huge curve-ball.
Enjoy the show!! Can’t wait to read your thoughts on Tuesday!
