The decision to pull Kurt Angle from last night’s Sacrifice PPV main event wasn’t made until the day of the PPV.
The word making the rounds within TNA is that they expect Angle to be out for one month as a result of his neck injury.
The original plan was for Angle to face AJ Styles at Slammiversary, which takes place on June 8 in Southaven, MS (just outside of Memphis). It remains to be seen if Angle will be given the okay to return to the ring by that point. Tonight and tomorrow night’s tapings for Impact should give an indication in regards to which direction they are going in.
Rock musicians Saving Abel and Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins were in attendance at last night’s Sacrifice pay-per-view.
One of the members of Saving Abel is currently involved in a relationship with Angelina Love. When Saving Abel was shown on camera last night, you could spot TNA President Dixie Carter as well as backstage announcer Crystal Louthan behind them.
