According to an article on IGN.com April 15, the release date for the new TNA Impact video game is now scheduled for September. The game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and 3 and Wii gaming systems. The game will feature 25 different TNA wrestlers to choose from, a selection of different arenas to fight in and several different match types including the Ultimate X match.
According to a news item from the Manawatu Standard April 17, the main event for Friday’s Pro Wrestling Explosion live event in Palmerston North, New Zealand, will place former WWE Hardcore Champion Raven against Australian native TNT. The lineup will contain six other bouts pitting wrestlers from New Zealand, Australia and North America against one another. The event will be held at Queen Elizabeth College with the doors opening at 7 p.m.
The TNA Knockouts didn’t get the day off on Monday as they were involved with some sort of project with Spike TV that afternoon.
Former TNA backstage announcer Leticia Cline will be appearing on Howard Stern’s Bowling Beauties television series, which debuts on Howard TV next month. The show is based around bikini-clad women bowling while comedian Jim Florentine does comedy. Speaking of Cline, she has not been eliminated from The CW’s Beauty and the Geek reality show yet. Cline is one of the three remaining finalists on the program.
