John Morrison and the The Miz defeated Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore in a lively opening bout.
Kofi Kingston defeated Shelton Benjamin in a nothing match
Kelly Kelly won a best diva body contest over Eve Torres and Victoria (surprised by the lack of Michelle McCool)
Big Show, Matt Hardy and Batista beat the team of Ryder/Hawkins and MVP (who was hilarious on the mic before the crowd)
After the intermission, Kane defeated CM Punk and Chavo Guerrero in a triple threat ECW title match
Finlay defeated The Great Khali (with lots of fun spots involving Hornswoggle,tennis balls, and water pistols)
Mark Henry beat Tommy Dreamer in a total squash match.
Kenny Dykstra defeated Jamie Noble in a boring match (surprised how they placed this as the pre-main event match)
….And lastly, The Undertaker defeated Edge to retain his title (not surprisingly)
It was an okay event for what it was, really showed how lame the SmackDown! roster is right now.
Also, what I found comical was the 6 year old behind me who screamed “Get off the steroids, man!” towards Batista.
There was a lot of badly overpriced merchandise, too. £15 for a program that is so out of date it was unreal- WWE should be ashamed at that. But then it is WWE were talking about.
RAW returns to Birmingham in November!!
