During this past Monday Night RAW, it was announced that the WWE will be bringing back the King of the Ring tournament. Many fans will remember the tournament as being an entire pay-per-view (last in 2002), but this time will be featured during a 3-hour RAW next week. The field has been as large as 32 contestants (2000) and as small as 8 contestants (1997, 2006). This year’s field will also feature 8 superstars.
WWE has listed the photos of the following 8 men on their website as being the participants for next week’s King of the Ring tournament on Raw:

Shawn Michaels
CM Punk
Batista
Big Show
Triple H
MVP
However, there is also an article attached to the advertisement which contains the following text:
“Will the Green Bay loudmouth back up his harsh words and be hailed as King Kennedy? Will Finlay brawl his way to becoming a Celtic King? “
