Match #2 – Maria & Mickie James defeated Katie Lea Burchill & Beth Pheonix (Special Referee Val Venis)
Match #3 – CM Punk defeated Carlito
Match #4 – Snitsky defeated ‘The Canadian Bulldog’ D.H. Smith
Match #5 – William Regal defeated Santino Marella
Match #6 – Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
***Intermission***
Match #7 – Chris Jericho defeated Umaga to retain the Intercontinental Championship
Match #8 – Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero to retain the ECW Championship
Main Event – Triple H defeated Randy Orton via disqualification, which of course meant Orton retained the title, following interferance from William Regal
Notes:
The advertised Main Event for this show was DX vs Randy Orton & Umaga. WWE even went as far as having the Odyssey arena sell DX merchandise before the show such as glowsticks etc. Talk about disappointing. I was extremley excited to see Shawn Michaels, however he was not even a part of the show.
But that is the only criticism I have of the show. The atmosphere was amazing all night, and it turned out to be a fun and entertaining show.
It was also cool to see some of the wrestlers wrestlers leave after the event. I saw CM Punk, Y2J, D.H. Smith & Hardcore Holly to name a few. All great sports. Thank-you WWE!!!
