Thanks to appearances to the legendary Ric Flair and the third-best draw in the history of wrestling – The Rock – WWE scored a huge rating for their Hall of Fame ceremony that aired at the inconvenient time of 11 PM on Saturday night. The show scored a 2.1 rating, setting a record for the Hall of Fame TV show and almost doubling the usual numbers fort he show, and it breaks the Bret Hart edition that set the previous record.
