Yeah, I’ve finally decided to become a cliché. I’m going to do my dream wrestle mania and the following weeks and angles. But first, big news ramblers! Big Phil now has his OWN official website! So, if any of my ramblers aspire to be a columnist like myself, please email me at bigdaddyphil92@hotmail.com, and I’ll see if I can accommodate you on www.wrestlingramblings.tk ! I won’t be able to accommodate everyone of course but I’ll get the best! If you don’t make it, don’t worry, I’ll do what I can to help you get better.
Right onto today’s topic. First of all the Hall Of Fame voting is closed and the results announced in the next couple of days! So, WrestleMania, the grandest stage of them all. It’s looking pretty crap really isn’t it? I’m nowhere near as excited as I was for 23 to be honest. So, just to verify, this column is about what I would LOVE to happen NOT what I think WILL happen. This is speculation and imagination, not prediction.
First off, I think I’ll start with BunnyMania, probably the simplest match on the card. I’m gonna say I’d quite like to see Ashley interfere seeing as she was originally meant to be in this angle. However. I don’t want her to help Maria and Candice win. I want her to just run down and take out the heel lumberjacks who try to interfere. After this match I would probably like to see Candice (if she’s ok, if not I wish her a speedy recovery) get herself that championship back please. Quick note on her, she showed absolutely no ring rust whatsoever! It was almost like she’d never been away, although I did notice her holding her arm somewhat. Hopefully it’s just an angle.
Finlay vs. JBL- Belfast Brawl. Don’t expect much technicality here folks. Pure blood match. Finlay picks up the win with interference from hornswaggle in my mind, but this isn’t really a match I care about. So oh well.
Now, here is a match that I will have so much fun booking. The 24 man battle royal. I can have literally anyone here. I’d like to see the ECW originals return for the most part. With none other than RVD winning the thing then beating Chavo for the title. Why beat him? Why not Punk? Why have Punk out of the title picture? I’ll get to that in a minute. But when RVD gets the championship, I’d love to see Shelton challenge for it.
Right. Batista vs. Umaga. I would seriously laugh if Batista won. So that’s why I’m having Umaga win then go to SmackDown in the draft to carry on the feud up until SummerSlam, where I would have Umaga challenge Undertaker for the title. But, there’s something more about Undertaker I’ll get to in a minute.
Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels- Career Threatning Match
Everyone thinks this is Flair’s time to go. No! Here’s what I would love to see. Flair beats HBK clean, but isn’t happy with his performance, he feels like HBK held back, therefore, we have a return match at Backlash, where Flair loses gracefully and retires. That’s my dream world anyway.
Money In The Bank
Now, I’d quite like to see Jericho win this. I’d then have him challenge Triple H (who I would have win the triple threat match, so no-one shout at me later for leaving it out!) for the title. I’d also have him win, but I’d wait until at least SummerSlam, possibly even Survivor Series. Now, here’s a stipulation. Ok, Team Triple H vs. Team Jericho. Winning team’s captain gets the title. Winning team also get a shot at the title in a fatal four way match, I’d have four man teams of course. Good huh?
Big Show vs. Money Mayweather.
Ok, this is my dream wrestle mania. Ready to hear what’d happen? The lighting rig would fall down and stop the match from happening. Maybe a piece of glass from one of the lights would get stuck in Mayweather’s foot to punish him for being a crap baby face. The End. No Match.
Now, Edge vs. Undertaker. Here’s where I get my heat baby, I’m ready for the death threats. Undertaker loses. Purely because he’s facing Edge, and I would much rather it end against Edge than anyone else. He’d get the title, don’t worry, but maybe at Backlash. Or. Here’s one of my kooky ideas. During MITB, before the bell rings, Edge runs into the ring, legally entering himself in the match ( ala hornswoggle in the cruiserweight match.) When everyone is down, he takes the briefcase. Undertaker beats him, but then Edge attacks with a chair after the match, beats Undertaker to a pulp with the Edgehead’s help. Then cashes in his briefcase! Undertaker- 16-1.
