RCW Comes To Jackson, Ohio Feb. 16th:

RCW returns to the Jackson Memorial Building in Jackson, OH on Saturday, February 16th for Physical Distortion ‘08. Doors open at 6:30pm with a 7:30pm bell time. Tickets go on sale this coming Thursday, January 31st, at Mom’s All American Pizza on 77 Huron Street in Jackson and at our Portsmouth locations: Front Row Video, Domino’s Pizza, & Castle Comics. Online tickets available right now until 12am before the show.The stage was set at New Year’s Revolution for the Mixed 6-man tag team match. The Weapons of Mass Destruction ( Tyson Rogers, Wes Cannon, & Ranger Bob) will be taking on RCW World Heavyweight Champion, Tank Runyon, Jackson’s own Flash Fury, and Hollie Wood. The heat has been brewing between Rogers and Runyon while Ranger Bob has been a thorn in the side of Hollie Wood for months. Flash Fury came to Runyon’s aid and took out Ranger Bob and Tyson at the January event. Now these 6 will battle it out in Jackson.
Also on the card, IOU’s Ace Gigolo defends his RCW TV Title against former tagteam champion Nikki Tyler. Tyler and Ace Gigolo have never met in the squared circle before. On February 16th, we will find out if Ace Gigolo’s winning streak will continue or will Nikki Tyler add another title to his impressive resume.
JD Santos and “Livewire” Chris Smith have picked their matches. They have said at this time they will wait until the time is right. Conceivably, Santos could pick his match with Gigolo after Gigolo’s contest against Tyler. Santos wants to do things the right way though and challenge Ace Gigolo in a fair fight. Santos wants to take care of some unfinished business as he meets his former tagteam partner The Juggulator. These two are former RCW World Tagteam Champions until Juggulator turned his back on Santos much the same way he did to Aaron Draven. Will the Mastermind play a factor in this match? You cannot count out the Manager of Champions.
Much like Santos…Chris Smith says that he and Randy Allen would like to hone their skills and make sure they are “ready” when they go against the Gods. So at this time it seems that Randy Allen and Chris Smith will team up against another duo. Who will answer the challenge? We hope to have an answer to that by weeks end here on RCWONLINE.COM.
Also IOU member Onyx and Ricochet battle one more time. These two cannot be in the same building anymore let alone the same ring. What will happen when these two collide one final time?
Speaking of IOU, Exotic E has stated that “The American Idol” Dirk Extreme will return on 2/16 in Jackson. But will he still be “The American Idol” that the fans love OR is Extreme back to his devious ways of the past. Exotic E says “The American Idol” is dead…we will find out on February 16th at the Jackson Memorial Building.

* Bryan Danielson over Tyler Black in 25+ minutes when Black hit a Phoenix Splash, but Danielson was able to take the splash momentum and roll it thru for the pin. Holic said it was easily an early MOTYC and another board member with considerable knowledge on the product sent me a message on his own to rave that “it was one of the Top 5 ROH matches I have ever seen.”
* Nigel McGuinness retained the ROH World Title over Chris Hero in a Steel Cage Match. Nigel eeked out the win by making it to the floor first. Bobby Dempsey inadvertantly smashed Hero with the cage door and SnS beat Bobby down post-match.

- Tri-State Champion Ice came out to talk about his match at SHIMMERS with Dr. Melvin Winkleman. The Mad Scientist came to the ring as well and they were ready to brawl, but referees held them back. Ice turned his back to leave and Winkleman attacked him from behind.
- The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant defeated Jesse Hyde.
- The Protected Ones (Roger Ruffen & Ryan Stone) defeated Austin Meddler & The American Eagle.
After intermission, Anthony Bryant came to the ring to gloat about his victory and tell the fans he thought they were trash – because unlike him, they all had meaningless jobs and got dirty while they worked. Austin Meddler came out and defended the honor of the people. He challenged Bryant to a match at SHIMMERS this Saturday.
- Stewie Backlund defeated Nasty Russ by DQ when T-Money attacked from behind. Tiny Tim, recouperating from cracking his skull on the floor last week in Fairfield, ran out with a chair to clear the ring of the Thugs.
- New NWF Champion Muldoon & Buffalo Bad Boy Brian Jennings defeated The Crybaby & Jon Moxley. After the match, NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard went to the ring to congratulate Muldoon, but was interrupted by Roger Ruffen & Ryanj Stone who insisted on a rematch. Sheppard eventually granted it for Fairfield’s February 23rd event – but stipulated that if Ruffen was going to be at ringside, the match would be held inside a STEEL CAGE!
- Unified Champion Christopher Michael Lotus defeated inGe. The Thugs came out to help their manager, but Tap or Snap stopped them. All six men brawled in the ring to end the night!

- Josie. Josie debuted in the wrestling business in 2003. In her 4 1/2 years since she has competed all over the Mid-West and held numerous titles in her career to date. She is a regular with Shimmer and also has made appearances with Ring Of Honor. Josie was part of last years Ladies Night Out and has vowed to avenge last years first round defeat to ODB at this year’s event.
- Shantelle Taylor. Shantelle has trained internationally for the past 4 years as a Professional Wrestler all over North America, South Africa & Mexico. She was also under a World Wrestling Entertainment developmental contract for over a year. She can keep it on the ground, fly with the best of them and hit you before you know it. Shantelle could be considered a triple threat as she can wrestle, talk and look good doing it.
- Lexi Lane. Lexi made her debut in 2005, and in 2006 Lexi made it to the Elite 8 Tournament held by WXW. Since that time her career has sky rocketed. Lexi won last years “Ladies Night” and also was crowned the very first Ohio Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion. In 2007 Lexi really burst onto the women’s scene making her debut for Ring Divas, PGWA, as well as the top women’s promotion in the United States, Shimmer. Lexi is looking very forward to this years event as defending Champion and looks to repeat last years performance.

- Sara Del Rey. Sara Del Ray is considered one of the finest Women’s wrestler in the world. She is a mainstay with Shimmer Women’s Athletes and their current Champion. She also is a regular in Mexico for Lucha Libra Femenil. She also has appear in Ring Of Honor, All Pro Wrestling, Chikara and countless other Independent promotions. She also appeared as Nic Grimes under a hood for MTV Wrestling Promotion, Wrestling Society X.
