Mid Ohio Wrestling “Throwdown” Update
Mid Ohio Wrestling has announced that The Rogue will not be able to compete in the fist round of the Tri-County Title tournament January 19th. He will be replaced by Carlton Kaz.
NWF 1/12 Wilmington Ohio Results
The Crybaby, Zodiac #1, and The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant defeated Austin Meddler, Pompano Joe, and Jesse Hyde when Bryant pinned Meddler
Unified Champion Christopher Michael Lotus defeated Dr. Melvin Winkleman. After the match, Winkleman attacked Lotus and hit him with his gas mask.
NWF Tag Team Champions The Thugs defeated Tap or Snap when InGe hit Tiny Tim with a hubcap behind the referee’s back.
Jon Moxley defeated The Buffalo Bad Boy Brian Jennings by DQ when Buffalo used a chair that Moxley had originally brought into the ring.
The Genuine Superstar came to the ring to gloat about his victory earlier, but Meddler came out and challenged him to a match. Bryant declined but agreed to battle Meddler on March 1st in Wilmington.
#1 Contender Muldoon pinned Benjamin Kimera.
NWF Champion Ryan Stone pinned Ice.
Stamp Lickage defeated Roger Ruffen when Ryan Stone interfered. Muldoon came out to even things up and NWF CEO made a tag team match pitting these four men against each other on March 1st!
OCW “Stairway to Stardom” Results
Ohio Championship Wrestling kicked 2008 off in grand style with Stairway to Stardom last night in Coshocton. The match itself was one for the ages, as Natural Attraction (“The Natural” Christian Vaughn & “The Feature Attraction” Ryan Midnite) outlasted seven other teams & defeated Irish Airborne in the TLC Phase to capture the OCW Tag Team titles.

Virus picked up a surprise victory over “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon.
Nevaeh beat Sassy Steffy to retain the OCW Women’s championship. “Sexy” Lexi Lane returned to action, serving as the special guest referee for this contest.
Robby Starr downed Jason Thunder to retain the OCW Heavyweight championship. After the match, “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon viciously attacked & bludgeoned Starr.
After intermission, Robby Starr issued a challenge to “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon for a First Blood match on February 16 in Newark. As of this time, Cannon has not accepted nor declined the challenge.
“The Bachelor” Richard Carter defeated Joejoe Little.
Max Fahrenheit beat Dustin Rayz. Prior to the start of this bout, J. Raymond Huntley addressed Fahrenheit stating that the proper paperwork was not filed; hence Vance Desmond stayed in Pennsylvania. Huntley added if Fahrenheit beat Rayz, he would receive a title shot in Newark on February 16.
