— TNA executives really tried hard to sign Chris Jericho even after he appeared with other WWE superstars on Larry King Live this past summer. The idea was to have Jericho debut on the first-ever two hour episode of Impact. However, as we all know, a deal was never made and Jericho ended up back in WWE. We are able to confirm that TNA never made Jericho a big money offer.
— If you have not heard by now, WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view scheduled for January 27, 2008 at Madison Square Garden in New York City sold out in just about five hours. WWE ended up selling 14,000 tickets for the event; however, they will probably announce a significantly higher number.
