Vince McMahon is expected to be making the final decision on who will be replacing JBL as the WWE SmackDown announcer tomorrow. WWE producer Kevin Dunn, has supposedly a very shot list of people of who he felt performed well in the recent tryouts. As things stand right now, Michael Hayes is in the lead to be replacing JBL role over on WWE SmackDown. Michael Hayes has announced for several different wrestling promotions over the years, dating back to the mid-1980’s. He is also the WWE SmackDown head writer, so it may be hard for him to juggle both roles as a head writer and announcer, which is the only thing going against him.
