After closing out our 10th year on a high note in front of over 800 fans at Season’s Beatings 2007, What better way to start off 2008 than for JAPW to return to the place where it all began: Beautiful Hudson County, NJ.
JAPW gets the New Year off with a bang as we proudly present “RECLAIMING HUDSON” at the Golden Door Charter School, 180 9th St, In Jersey City, NJ, just minutes away from The PATH Train and the NJ Transit Light Rail.
Tickets are now on sale at www.japw.net, and will be on sale at the door the night of the show. General admission is just $15. 1st row ringside is already sold out, but 2nd Row ringside is just $20, and 3rd Row is $15, but get your ringside tickets now as they WILL sell out.
In action at “RECLAIMING HUDSON”
JAPW World Champion Low Ki will defend his Championship against one of the only men to pin his shoulders to the mat in 2007, the Latin Monster that many say can’t be stopped-TNA Superstar and co-holder of the JAPW Tag Team Titles, LAX member Hernandez! After dominating just about everyone that he has faced over the last 3 years in JAPW, Low-Ki is considered by many to be the underdog against Hernandez. Could fans in Jersey City see a new champion crowned, or will Low-Ki find a way to win, no matter what it takes?
After the incredible 3 way match at Season’s Beatings that saw the LAX retain their Tag Team Titles in their toughest battle yet, Hernandez is getting his World Title Match, But his LAX partner, TNA Superstar- “The “Notorious 187” Homicide is not taking the night off, as Homicide has requested a 3 way match against 2 of his most bitter enemies: Teddy Hart and Eddie Kingston!
Since Hart’s controversial return to JAPW at the 10th Anniversary show, no one has been able to predict what Teddy Hart’s next move will be except for the fact that he does not seem to just be satisfied with just costing Homicide the JAPW World Title, he seems bent on destroying all that Homicide cares for!
Eddie Kingston has an axe to grind not only with Homicide, but with Teddy Hart as well. He sees Homicide as the “Old Guard” in JAPW that were “holding him down”, and Hart as the man who swooped in and interjected himself into what Kingston saw as his time to take the spotlight.
Any way you look at it, enough fuel has been dumped on this fire to make this match explode and prove why Jersey All Pro Wrestling delivers when it says: “We Guarantee Excitement!”
“Money! Money! Yeah! Yeah!”- Remember those words, as you are sure to hear all the fans in attendance hollering that night as former WWE Superstars Cryme Tyme returns to JAPW and make their debuts in Dirty Jersey!
The Grim Reefer will receive his rematch for the NJ State title against the man that defeated him for that belt – Archadia! Archadia’s new attitude has certainly put some extra checks in the win column, even if the rules were broken to get those wins. After Archadia’s interference cost Reefer a win at Season’s Beatings, Reefer is set to get his revenge, and the NJ State title back.
What would A JAPW Event in Jersey City, NJ without TNA Superstar Jay Lethal as he takes on a man that is quickly building a cult following in JAPW, Chris Hero. After “going back to his Roots” at Season’s Beatings, will the man who is sometimes known as “Black Machismo” keep it “real” or will the “madness” take over once again? Either way, Lethal better be at his best against Hero, who is hungry for a win after his loss last month to AJ Styles.
After the 5 star match that opened the show at Season’s Beatings, JAPW management was quick to sign a rematch between TNA Superstar Sonjay Dutt & Xavier. Both men pulled out all the stops in their first match that narrowly saw Dutt get the win. Xavier is looking to even up the score and make the highflying “Playa from the Himalayas” crash back down to earth.
Up and coming light heavyweight Bandito Jr. will face off with “The Suicidal Demon” Azriael in a match that could very well steal the show!
The undefeated Tag Team of Monsta Mack & Havok will battle BLKOut Members SWB & Sabian in Tag team action. Mack and Havok have destroyed everyone that have crossed their paths so far, but they have never faced a team like BLKOut before…Will the train come off the tracks in Jersey City?
“Dangerous” Devon Storm looks to live up to his nickname as he steps back into the ring against his opponent from the 10th anniversary show- Danny Demanto. Storm and Demanto have both shown that “going hardcore” is something that neither man is afraid to do, and we can be certain that this match will be no different. Demanto is looking to avenge his loss against the veteran Storm.
