The crowd tonight was read hot from beginning to end, Only dying down during the Kennedy vs Jannetty match which few seemed to care about. Seeing all the legends back was just fantastic, even if guys like Bart Gunn and The Goon went over most peoples heads. Some of the guys more familliar from the attitude era like Blackman and Gillberg got big pops however. Hogan’s reaction wasn’t quite as big as I expected. I’m not sure how it came out on TV, but it wasn’t nearly big as the pop Triple H got during the three times he came out.
The dark match had DH Smith defeating Steve Corino
After the show, the Beer Bash continued for about another 5 minutes, with just about everyone drinking a beer, except for Backlund who just had a bottle of water. Not sure if Godfathers women were legitimate prostitutes or just models, but they starting flashing their assets to th crowd after the show, a very classy thing to do in front of children.
Mae Young got a very respectful reaction from the crowd as well
