Welcome to the final preview to PTW “BulletProof”, on Saturday 1st December. First we give you some PTW news, then the vital details of the show, and how to get tickets; and then a write up on the matches to get you in the mood for PTW’s last show of the year! And what a year it’s been….
NEW SECURITY FOR THE BOSS!
PTW Owner Peter Staniforth had a recent request from Aphrodite, that she wished to compete more in a PTW ring in the future; and to be released from her duties as his ‘bodyguard-ette’. This request has been granted, and Peter didn’t take long to recruit a new employee to look after his wellbeing. Recent times have seen the owner get more and more angry with people’s attitudes, and Peter was quoted as saying that by employing this new person as his security – “It makes a real statement of intent”. This new person, is no less than “GoldenGloves” Paul McSherry, who has a legitimate boxing background as well as his professional wrestling career. With Peter’s ever present confidence (read : ego with it’s own postcode!), mixed with the power of being in charge of PTW and his determination to give the fans the best show possible; and combined with Paul’s toughness; the bad guys in PTW are going to have a lot to reckon with if they ‘cross the boss’.

Shabazz w/PTW Owner Peter Staniforth VS Sykes w/”100 Percent” Dan Edge
Shabazz has been arguably PTW’s biggest star since the start of the company. Adored by the fans, on a solid winning streak, and a champion in other promotions; he is currently riding a wave and is at the strongest point of his career so far. This could be spoilt, by one man. A dangerous man. A man with a bitter streak. A man who’s reputation elsewhere preceeds itself. This man is quite simply known – as Sykes. Added to this, is the constant and continuing issues between PTW Owner Peter Staniforth, and Dan Edge. Both will be ringside, as Edge looks to get one over Peter in their on-going competition of sorts to see who can ‘one up’ the other. A lot of this has been chronicled on YouTube.com, and this adds just another twist to a fascinating title match that has the attention of the country.
TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH
Rich N’ Famous & Kyle Kraze VS Brian Braddock & Kid Regis
In various ways, and forms, the feud between Rich N’ Famous and Brian Braddock has been a major part of the year. Many people have been brought into this battlefield, but the lines have been drawn for December 1st. Famous has his ‘Player’s Club’ tag team partner, in Kyle Kraze; and in an attempt to get into the head of the egotistical team, Brian Braddock brought back a man from Rich N’ Famous’s past – Kid Regis, making his comeback to wrestling. This is far beyond personal now. But one thing it is, is unmissable!
PTW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH – “NO HOLDS BARRED”
G ‘The Ghetto Superstar’ VS Dan Ryder (c)
Ever since Dan Ryder turned upon long time friend G ‘The Ghetto Superstar’, in a bitter rage, this feud has been white hot. The cause of this? G becoming the first ever PTW Cruiserweight champion. This has seen both men bring their friends into the situation, with Ryder bringing in Danny Devine; and G recruiting Geraden to watch his back. Now this is taken to a whole new level – no rules, no limits – quite simply… No Holds Barred.
WINNER ALLOWED TO BE RINGSIDE FOR THE PTW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Geraden VS Danny Devine
As an added twist to the PTW Cruiserweight title match, there will be a match to decide who will be ringside for the contest. Popular fan favourite Geraden, the loveable underdog, will be facing off against ‘The Metrosexual’ Danny Devine. Both men want to be in the corner of their comrade later on in the night, so you know this one will be fast paced and exciting.
SINGLES MATCH
Lucian VS American All-Star w/Miss Vicky
Despite, and we quote, “not giving a damn what those idiot fans think”, American All-Star has been given credit by PTW observers for his recent performances; particularly his eventual losing effort against Shabazz in the Number One Contenders Match in Stevenage on Nov 17th. Sadly, he really doesn’t care what has been said, and is looking to get back on the winning track once more. Lucian, on the other hand, has been on a little bit of a downward spiral in PTW for reasons that remain unexplainable. Lucian has embraced the support of the PTW fans in recent times, and he feels that this could be a key factor in his rise to the top of Power Trip Wrestling. Who will take the victory in this one?

Beer Fuelled Violence VS Team Woo w/PTW Owner Peter Staniforth
Beer Fuelled Violence, have taken Power Trip Wrestling by storm, drinking beer, having fun; and hitting hard! Team Woo, well, they’re probably the only tag team in the entire world that have been named after the nickname of the Owner’s daughter; and are openly big fans of the aforementioned 5 year old! Two teams that are loved by the fans, two teams who like to bring fun to the ring; but two teams who want a win to wrap up 2007 and lead into 2008.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Seb Drea VS Paul McSherry VS Danny Stevens
Three of PTW’s upcoming stars clash, in this triple threat match. The insane high flyer Seb Drea, “GoldenGloves” Paul McSherry, and Danny Stevens. Drea is coming off of a win on Nov 17th in Stevenage, McSherry is doing the same after beating Mikey the Pikey on the same evening; and Danny Stevens is frustrated and becoming more and more bitter over what he feels is a lack of respect from everyone at PTW. Who will take the victory in this battle to take the next step up the rankings ladder?
INTER-GENDER HANDICAP MATCH
Frantastic VS Mikey The Pikey & Aphrodite
The ‘Scouse PowerHouse’ Frantastic, the cocky and arrogant Northerner; has been shouting around and demanding his own way recently in PTW. He’s also taking to insulting Luton Town FC publically. This, both obviously, and predictably, hasn’t gone down too well with the PTW Owner; and Peter Staniforth has decided to test Frantastic’s patience in this intergender handicap match; against the very popular Mikey the Pikey, and Peter’s now former bodyguard-ette Aphrodite.
