Mike Johnson is reporting that TNA has offered Sting a new contract offer, but it remains to be seen if he will sign for another year.
Sting’s current deal with the company expires at the end of 2007 and is not expected to appear at any upcoming TNA events before that point as he is taking a break until January to decide what he would like to do. Earlier reports in the year stated that Sting was interested in quietly retiring at the end of 2007, but TNA is interested in signing him for at least another year.
