So it’s been ten years since the ever famous Montreal Screwjob. Is tonight’s Survivor Series going to try to top what happened 10 years ago? I doubt it because I don’t think there is anything that could top that main event, but hopefully tonight’s Survivor Series will come off well and we will have plenty of exciting moments that many of us will remember for years to come, or at least for the next few days. Seriously I have to tell you that I’m having a difficult time with my picks, this card is just a little tough for me. And as far as the predictions that I have received so far? Well it seems like both title matches can go either way, there isn’t a clear winner for either the World title or WWE title. It’s nice to have something that’s not so predictable. Okay let me get right to tonight’s Survivor Series predictions.
10 Divas Tag Team Match – Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall, Melina, Layla and Victoria vs. Torrie Wilson, Mickie James, Maria, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly
Let’s face it Kelly Kelly will carry this match. Wait let me stop laughing; seriously this should be an okay match. I expect it to be a short match and I think with the exception of Layla and Kelly Kelly we will see some nice moves by the rest of the divas. I will go with the Glamazon team for the win. I can’t see Phoenix’s team losing, to me that’s the strongest team.
Winners: Team Glamazon
Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali
Ah the match of the night, GOD FOR BID. The only thing that I can see happening is a Hornswoggle win because the Great Khali will turn face and he will realize just how “cute” and “cuddly” McMahon’s kid is.
Winner: Hornswoggle
Cade & Murdoch vs. Rhodes & Holly World Tag Team Championship
I believe that Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly will be the new tag team champs. Monday night Cade and Murdoch got squashed by Taker and Batista, and for several weeks we have seen the making of a new tough tag team, Rhodes and Holly. I have to go with them for the win and I’m hoping that we get a good match, which I believe we will.
Winners: Rhodes and Holly
Triple Threat Match for the ECW Championship – CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. The Miz
CM WINS that’s a given. Now I just read that these guys put on an excellent match at last nights house show, so I think we can count on that happening tonight. No way is Punk losing and now that Miz and Morrison are tag team champions I figure they will both be out of the title picture after tonight.
Winner: CM Punk
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match – Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Kane and Rey Mysterio vs. Umaga, Mr. Kennedy….Kennedy, Finlay, MVP, and Bid Daddy V
Okay I see Triple H’s team winning with Hunter and maybe Jeff Hardy as the only two survivors. Gosh I hope this is a fun match and a hard worked match. I think with all involved this should come off very well.
Winners: Triple H’s Team
World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. Undertaker – Hell in a Cell Match
I have read that this is going to be the match that closes the show. You know this is going to be an excellent match and a match that the Miami, Florida crowd will really get into. Batista and Taker have had some excellent pay per view matches and the streak should and will continue tonight. I will go with Batista for the win, but an Undertaker victory would not surprise me at all.
Winner: Batista
Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels – WWE Championship Match
It’s the ten year anniversary of Vince McMahon screwing Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels was in that major match. So there who feel that Vince is going to do the very same thing to HBK by ringing the bell too soon, and giving Orton the win, but what if it’s Shawn Michaels and Vince that screw Randy Orton? I say that’s what’s going to happen and I think this is going to be one of the top matches of the show. I’m giving the win to Shawn Michaels because the build up for him as been huge with interview after interview in many news papers. Plus Shawn is so ready to have that title. HBK goes home as the new WWE champion.
Winner: HBK
There you have it my picks for tonight, and hopefully I will get a few right. I wanted to say that I didn’t forget Edge. He’s supposed to return tonight, but in what capacity? I say he will either take Kane out for injuring him back in June, OR somehow he will interfere in the HIAC match and ruin it for Taker. Edge I’m sure will play a major role in one of the matches tonight. I will be back on Tuesday or Wednesday with my thoughts on this show and Raw.
