— CNN’s documentary “Death Grip: Inside Pro Wrestling” that aired the other night featured WWE employees CM Punk, John Cena along with Vince and Linda McMahon. Cena, who was filmed at home with a sling on his arm, was asked if he had ever used steroids. Cena very bluntly replied: “”I can’t tell you that I haven’t and you can’t prove that I have.” The former WWE Champion called it a “crazy question.” Cena has since then spoken out on the CNN interview.
— The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) will return to action as they will be taking on Norman Smiley and Hack Myers at a Planet Championship Wrestling show on 11/24 in Sarasota, FL. The Nasty Boys have been telling people that they will be working a dark match at the SmackDown/ECW tapings on 11/20 in Tampa, Florida.
Former professional wrestler Mick Foley described the Nasty Boys in his autobiography as “sloppy as hell, and more than a little dangerous, but they knew how to brawl.”
FACTS ABOUT THE NASTY BOYS:
In 1990, the Nasty Boys joined the National Wrestling Alliance affiliate Jim Crockett Promotions, soon to be renamed World Championship Wrestling.
The Nasty Boys left WCW in December 1990 and joined the World Wrestling Federation.
They defeated The Hart Foundation for the WWF World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania VII, and held the titles until SummerSlam 1991, when they were defeated by the Road Warriors in a street fight.
They returned to WCW in 1993, where they were managed by Missy Hyatt.
Brian Knobbs and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine wives are sisters, making them brothers-in-law.
