The following is from WWE.com:
After the world witnessed the hat trick that altered the fate of No. 1 contender John Morrison on ECW on Sci Fi, General Manager Armando Estrada made an executive decision almost overnight regarding the ECW Title and Survivor Series. Following the conclusion of the ECW Championship Match (and the ensuing brawl), Estrada has announced that CM Punk will face both Miz and Morrison in a Triple Threat Match, live on pay-per-view.
RAW scored a 3.7 officially, according to Nielsen Media. The show scored hours of 3.7 and 3.8, with an average of 5,198,000 viewers. WWE was looking for strong ratings and while these were not as strong as hoped, it is considered a good sign that they are retaining viewers. More than likely the solid, consistent numbers can be attributed to the viral campaign of the “mystery return” and a blowout game on Monday Night Football last night, seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers maul the Baltimore Ravens 38-7.
