Hollywood’s hottest stars were shining brightly when Raw hit Tinseltown. From The Girls Next Door to a former E.R. doctor, celebrities were out in full force at the STAPLES Center and WWE.com was there to chat with them.
“There is nothing like the live excitement of WWE and to be here live, it’s more than Raw…it’s Raw, dawg,” said Jamie Kennedy, the star of the movie Heckler, which will be released next year.
Tom Green, who hosts his own live, Internet talk show, has some history with a few WWE Superstars.
“You can watch when Stone Cold and Mr. Kennedy were on my show by going to TomGreen.com. I’m starting to get into wrestling a lot more now that they’ve come on my show; I’m interested in knowing what they’re up to now that I’ve met them.”
Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, stars of E!’s The Girls Next Door, were also at the STAPLES Center for Raw.
“This is my first WWE show. I am excited to be here. I’m excited to see this up close and personal,” Bridget told WWE.com. “My favorite out there tonight is ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. I’ve heard so much about him, so this will be exciting.”
Fellow Playboy model, Kendra, who is known on The Girls Next Door as being a big sports fan, was equally excited to be at Raw.
“This is my first WWE show, too. I was a fan growing up, and now I am here today,” Kendra said. “ ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin was one of my favorites, and Hogan. Those two were my favorites.”
Actor Shane West, who starred in Once & Again and E.R., was pumped to meet a few WWE Superstars and Divas at Raw Monday night.
“I am excited to be here. I’ve never been to one of these things, so why not it be Monday Night Raw? I was definitely a fan back in the day. My favorites were Brutus Beefcake, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka and Hogan,” Shane said.
“I’ve heard Stone Cold is here tonight, I’m looking forward to that, for sure,” he continued. “Triple H I’m definitely interested in seeing. I like John Cena, and I was rooting for him, but he got hurt, so I can’t see him. Otherwise, Stone Cold and Triple H sound good.”
