The Miz-Mahoney storyline was booked from start to finish by Dusty Rhodes. He has been known to be very hands on, doing all the filming for the angle. Both Vince and Dusty worked with Kelly Kelly on her reactions, as they feel she has made steady progress with her character.
Dusty optionally came up with the idea a few months ago, pitching it to Stephanie, which she liked. Since ECW has been known to fall of the radar in the past, no one messed with Dusty’s planning. This storyline was also rare because it’s one of the few angles that was booked in advanced and actually left untouched.
