THE XWA BATTLE OF BRITAIN WEEKEND – Final cards announced!
The XWA’s Battle of Britain Weekend is just around the corner, when the XWA will present two live events in one weekend for the very first time, featuring an eight-man tournament held across the two shows to determine the number one contender to ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm and his British Heavyweight Title.
This weekend of firsts will also see the XWA debut in a brand new venue, the Hexagon at L&M College, Lancaster, where not only will the Battle of Britain tournament reach its climax, but we will also launch our brand new division – The Best of the North West – featuring the cream of north west wrestling talent.
The full line-up is as follows:
Saturday September 29 – XWA Battle of Britain part 1
The Morecambe Dome, Marine Road Central, Morecambe, Lancashire
British Wrestling’s Home – The Morecambe Dome – welcomes the first round matches in the eight-man, single elimination Battle of Britain tournament.
First Round Matches –
‘Rowdy’ Ricky Knight v Sam Slam
‘The Bombay Dream’ Ross Jordan v El Ligero (for the British Flyweight Title)
‘Mr Deal or No Deal’ Stevie Knight v Joey Hayes
Johnny Phere v Simon Valour
PLUS – ‘Da Pukka 1’ Darren Burridge will make his return to Morecambe to challenge Stevie Knight for revenge!
AND – The return to the XWA of Europe’s largest tag team, the whopping combined 70 stone mass of The UK Pitbulls
ALSO – The Kraft, Zak Zodiac, The World-Famous Morecambe Raffle and much more

The Hexagon Theatre, Lancaster and Morecambe College, Morecambe Road, Lancaster, Lancashire
The Battle of Britain tournament reaches what’s bound to be a dramatic climax with the semi-finals and final at our brand new venue in Lancaster (just two miles from the Morecambe Dome) on this, our first ever MATINEE SHOW!
The final four in the Battle of Britain tournament fight to the finish as follows:
