While continuing to expand their international presence, WWE has opened an office in Shanghai, China. WWE began airing programming in the country this past January and is looking at actively marketing in the most populous country in the world. The feeling is that China is on the verge of becoming a world economic power giant.
Sylvan Grenier’s (a/k/a Sylvan) release on August 15th came as somewhat of a surprise to many in the industry as he wasn’t much most of his career, but WWE continued to keep him around. Lately he had improved pairing with Maryse, but unfortunately, for WWE officials, not enough.
