I was on the wwe.com RAW superstar page and realized there was no Ron Simmons profile but Armando Estrada who hasn’t been on TV for a while still is. [Thanks Uncheel]
I work at Miller Park, and last Sunday the Brewers faced the Giants. During the Brewer’s batting practice before the game, they played Ashley’s old theme of “Be Yourself” by Audioslave. During the Giant’s batting practice, they played the Miz’s theme and Batista‘s theme. [Thanks to Becky]
I noticed on the Power 25 this week, WWE calls Finlay the “Belfast Bruiser”, his old WCW ring-name. As well, in ranking the top 10 most Extreme matches on ‘List This!’, War Games, a Horsemen originated WCW/NWA staple, was slotted in the no. 6 position, calling it a “precursory inspiration for WWE’s Elimination Chamber.” [Thanks to Paul]
After WWE removed Chris Benoit’s profile, merchandise and all mentions of him on wwe.com, I noticed on Randy Orton‘s profile, that Benoit was still listed as one of the legends that Orton ‘killed’, and there was a link to photos of the match. I mentioned this on a post I made on JR’s website, and I said ‘You know what to do JR!!’. The next day, the link to the photos stopped working. I looked at Orton’s profile today, and it now refers to him as ‘The Legend Destroyer’. It looks like they may have dropped his legend killer title, probably because the Benoit case.
