Although VH1 has not yet made an official announcement on the air date or cast for Season 7 of the popular reality series “The Surreal Life”, professional gambler Phil Hellmuth is confirmed as a contestant and has revealed his fellow cast members. Season 7 will feature wrestling legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage, actor Dabney Coleman, actress Nikki McKibbin, world renowned psychic Miss Cleo, commedian Carrot Top, and Phil Hellmuth. The Surreal Life features a group of washed up celebrities doing basically whatever they can for attention. Many will remember (and are still trying to forget) the absolute trainwreck known as Joanie “Chyna” Lauer from her stint on the show that culminated with a violent encounter with estranged boyfriend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman.
Vince McMahon and John “Johnny Ace” Laurinaitis reportedly lectured wrestlers before last week’s Raw about their desire to rid WWE of drug usage and encouraging those with any issues to seek counseling. Vince McMahon gave a similar talk to his roster after the passing of Eddie Guerrero in 2005 and later re-introduced drug testing – both of which haven’t appeared to have worked in the long term for the company.
Umaga was kept off RAW last night for an unknown reason. That seems odd and we’ve heard Hardy is taking the IC title Sunday. More soon.
