AAA contacted Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam about doing the TripleMania supershow, after striking out with Hulk Hogan and Paul “The Big Show” Wight. However, RVD and Y2J have turned the offers down.
RVD told AAA that he burned out and won’t be wrestling right now. RVD mentioned that he could be interested in a coming to Mexico in September or October.
Reports also suggest that AAA also made an offer to Rey Mysterio Jr, however WWE didn’t approve even though Mysterio was interested. Rey Mysterio, Konnan and the booker of AAA are all still close friends. AAA has successfully booked Rikishi and Black Pearl for the event.
