We can confirm that at least one of the wrestlers initials which were listed in the indictment of Dr. Phil Astin could be a former WCW-WWE wrestler. It states on the 7 count indictment that Dr. Astin improperly prescribed various pain killers and other controlled substances to two individuals listed by the initials “O.G.” and “M.J.”.
A source who is familiar with Dr. Astin’s practice said that at least at least one of the individuals (M.J.) is believed to be a former wrestler who worked for WCW and WWE. Reports are also suggesting that “O.G.” could be a current WWE wrestler.
The two individuals listed by the initials “M.J.” and “O.G.” could be Mark Jindrak and Oscar Gutierrez which is the real name of Rey Mysterio, however this has not been confirmed and is speculation.
“There was a reason guys who lived in the Atlanta area would drive an hour and a half to get to Dr. Astin’s office” a source said.
Chris Benoit’s doctor, Dr. Astin is being accused of prescribing a massive amounts of medication and prescribing Chris Benoit a ten month supply of steroids every 3-4 weeks over a one year period of time. Chris Benoit visited Dr. Astin’s office hours before returning to his home and apparently murdering his wife and son before killing himself.
