The following comes from the Washington Post and clearly shows how USA Network is distancing itself from World Wrestling Entertainment and their initial handling of the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide:
A spokeswoman for USA said the network had no comment about the fact it had run the Benoit tribute, explaining, “Really, they [WWE] know more than we do — it’s all coming out of their camp.”
