Earlier this morning on FOX News’ program “FOX and Friends,” Chris Benoit and his family’s tragic death was mentioned many times. Former Edmonton mayor Bill Smith called in on the show and mentioned that Benoit was a family man and was very nice when he met him back in 2004. If you recall, shortly after he won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX, Edmonton was declared “Chris Benoit day.”
Jim Ross is expected to write a comment on Benoit later on today at his website.
