As reported earlier, the plans for tonight’s WWE Tag Team championship match at Vengeance are for Jimmy Snuka and Sgt. Slaughter to challenge Deuce and Domino. An interesting tidbit is Snuka is Deuce’s father, a fact that has not yet been acknowledged on SmackDown. Deuce discusses his father on the “Most Powerful Families” DVD.
Several older names are currently backstage at Vengeance in Houston, Texas right now. They include Rick Martel, Magnum TA and Harley Race.
Dusty Rhodes’ son Cody is also backstage at the pay-per-view. He has been a true highlight in the developmental system recently and has great presence in the ring and can cut a good promo.
