The rumors of WWE SmackDown diva Ashley Massaro leaving for the upcoming season of CBS’s Survivor are true. According to one source CBS contacted WWE and asked them to send someone that would make a good character on their reality series.
Since WWE is already low on talent (mostly due to injuries) it is obvious that they would select a diva. Both Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn felt strongly about giving Ashley the role. This was the reason she was “suspended” from SmackDown, thus she will not be appearing on WWE television again until the end of the year.
On a side note, preliminary sales reports for Ashley’s Playboy Magazine are said to be very disappointing.
