WWE chairman Vince McMahon was involved in a horrific explosion in his limo on ”Raw” last week and, according to the WWE Web site, is dead. Of course, McMahon is alive and well, but look for WWE to milk this for as long as possible.
Between dropping the WWE flag over the company headquarters to half-staff and claiming the FBI has been called in to investigate, they are laying it on pretty thick and enjoying enormous media attention, including from ESPN and CNN. Look for the ”mourning” to go on for weeks and maybe even months. And just imagine the grand return the boss will have in store for fans down the road.
