Wrestle Zone Wrestling present an ‘England (wZw) Vs Scotland (BCW)’ Tournament featuring some of the best Wrestlers from both promotions each representing their own home country.
The show is to be filmed by top North East Film Production Company ‘Jag Productions’ and they will be producing a pilot TV and Internet show. The set and lighting will be provided by ‘New York Productions.’ The introduction to the wZw team are the wZw showgirl dance troupe, who will open the show and will be performing in the interval.
The tournament will feature 5 matches and a point will be awarded to each team when they win a match. The first team to reach 3 clean wins will be crowned the winners and will be presented the ‘wZw Tournament Trophy.’
The first three matches for the tournament are as follows…
The Iceman (England) Vs The Highlander (Scotland)
(Hardcore Rules Match)
The rivalry between these two wrestlers stretches back six years and many a bloody battle has happened in both wZw and BCW rings. This match was made a Hardcore Rules Match at the request of both wrestlers. There are no rules in this match. Falls can count anywhere and all weapons are legal. Iceman speaking to the commissioner this afternoon made this statement ‘Highlander we have been in many battles over the years, we have bled and broken each others bones. I want to take you back to the night that nearly ended your career, that night in Dumfries when I almost broke your back, that night when you were raised 7 foot in the air and power bombed from a 6 foot high stage through a table. You thought that was the most extreme moment in your career, well I am going to tell you now Highlander, that was nothing, that was mild, that was easy compared to what I have planned at Ponteland Leisure Centre on the 7th July.’
Colossal Powers (England) Vs Lionheart & Darkside (Scotland)
(Tag Team Match)
BCW’s Lionheart and Darkside have decided to tag up for one night only and take on the established wZw tag team of Bad News Anderson and Jake Rockwell, ‘The Colossal Powers.’ The Colossal Powers, on what seems to be a bit of a losing streak are hoping to turn their fortunes around and destroy their opponents. It’s going to be a case of the high flying super fast BCW team against the hard hitting powerful style the wZw team. This tag team match could be match of the night!
Micky L (England) Vs Drew Galloway (Scotland)
(Singles Match)
One of the strangest match ups in the history of wZw, this is the giant Drew Galloway against the much smaller Micky L. On paper this match looks like it could be over in seconds. Drew Galloway not only has a massive size and power advantage but can match the speed and agility of Micky L. This will be Micky L’s biggest match to date and could be Drew Galloways last for wZw before he flies off to join the WWE in America.
Tony Spitfire Vs Lance Thunder
(Grudge Match)
The only match of the show that is not part of the tournament. Tony Spitfire and Lance Thunder up until the last show at Seaham were one of the most dominant tag teams in the UK. Seaham saw the tag team lose against ‘Carbon’ and rookie ‘Ben Stone.’ Thunder attacked Tony Spitfire accusing him of being a loser and not worthy to wear ‘The North East Bulldogs’ jacket. Before a full in ring brawl happened, the commissioner ‘Phil Robinson’ came to the ring and told them if they want to fight they do it on the next show.
The Pre-sales for this show are already indicating that this could be a sell out show, so both sets of wZw and BCW fans are advised to get their tickets now and support your promotion.
