They’ve lowered the flags at WWE Headquarters in Stamford “in honor of Mr. McMahon.” WWE.com and the company is going with this as if he’s actually dead, but it’s only to further the storyline of “Who Dun It?” which also ties into why certain vignettes were aired last night on RAW for “Appreciation Night.” They’ll look for answers to Steve Austin, Donald Trump, maybe even Bob Costas, etc.
There’s a whole bunch of WWE.com things going on today and tomorrow:
– Today: they’ll post videos of the “aftermath” of the explosion (mostly firefighters trying to stop the fire) later on in the day
– Tomorrow: there will be a statement from the McMahon family posted
In a funny update, a few WWE legal partners sent their condolences to the company this morning, and the local police department from last night had over 50 calls from journalists and residents asking what the status of Mr. McMahon is.
