The following appeared in the Del Rio News Herald:
“The WWE will present Saturday Night Main Event this weekend on NBC. This show, aired during primetime, has not been well received by the non-wrestling community, but it’s part of the deal the WWE and NBC cut when the WWE returned to USA.
It will more than likely serve as a two-hour advertisement for Sunday’s One Night Stand pay-per-view.
Matches already announced for Sunday’s event include Vince McMahon vs. Bobby Lashley in a street fight for the ECW World Title; Edge vs. Batista in a cage for the World Title and John Cena vs. The Great Khali in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the WWE Title.

Over in TNA, that company is gearing up for its June 17 pay-per-view, Slammiversary.
This event will feature the crowning of the first-ever TNA Champion as the company has decided to end its affiliation with the NWA organization.
To find a new champion, a King of the Mountain match will be held featuring the top names in the company. Already qualified for the match are Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. This week, A.J. Styles and Jeff Jarrett will battle it out to qualify for the match.
Also announced for Slammiversary will be an epic tag team match as Team 3D takes on the Steiner Brothers.”
