It’s a big day for Wells Fargo Arena. For the first time, an event there will be broadcast live on national television. It’s all part of the World Wrestling Entertainment event going on there tonight.
Before the Boogeyman, Edge, or the Sandman make their way into the Well today, they’ll be stopping at the carnival in the arena’s parking lot. They’re scheduled to arrive at 4:00 this afternoon and are inviting everyone to join them. The fair is having a special admission price of one-dollar today.
At 6:30, the action gets underway in the Well. One of the Extreme Championship wrestlers scheduled to battle it out in the ring tonight is Bobby Lashley. First on the schedule though, is the taping of WWE Smackdown. What they tape tonight is scheduled to air nationally this Friday on the CW and include appearances by the Undertaker, Batista, and Kane. Then the Extreme Championship wrestlers will take over in the ring. That will be shown live on the Sci-fi Channel at 9:00 p.m.
Tickets are still available and prices range from $20-$60.
