Thanks to Brittany Dyer for the following:
I went to Raw on Monday in Moline, IL. We got there about 6:30 and they were all ready letting people in. We had floor seats and half of the upper section was completely taped off. The arena is supposed to hold around 9,000 so I say there was about 4,500 to 5,000 in attendance.
The crowd was not nearly as hot as Chicago crowds are, which is where I am from but I’d say 85% of the audience was pro-Cena.
Signs were being taken left and right from fans. A guy by me got really mad when security took his sign away. I had a sign taken away during heat (it made a comment about The Condemned’s poor box office numbers), but wasn’t at all suprised to see it go.
Biggest pops of the night:
Cena
Lashley
Flair
Biggest Heat of the night:
Vince, Shane & Umaga
Orton
Khali
All in all, live it was a decent Raw. I’ve certainly been to better but thats just how it goes.
Also the WWE Sign Guy Rick was in attendance and I had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. He was real nice and was suprised to see people wanting to meet him. I made a comment how he has every WWE fans dream job and he shared with me he works in the wireless industry. I then said well he has every WWE fans dream hobby. Really the guy is just a huge fan who, thanks to Deal or No Deal, can now do a bit more travelling with the WWE. I asked him if he was at Wrestlemania 23 and he said he wasn’t going to because its really expensive for good seats but the WWE sent him a package with lower level tickets. He said he as hoping for the same thing next year.
