As an update to a story posted earlier here on the site, WWE SmackDown superstar Gregory Helms did indeed suffer a broken neck and will be undergoing neck fusion surgery this coming Monday.
This is the same surgery that Kurt Angle underwent several years ago. Dr. Lloyd Youngblood will be conducting the surgery. Helms is scheduled to be out of action for at least a year. We certainly wish him a speedy recovery.
