Here’s the results, straight from the PTW Offices, on a cold Saturday morning. Another loud night for Power Trip Wrestling, with approximately 150 fans in attendance; and here’s what went on…
*PTW Owner Peter Staniforth came out, welcomed everyone to the show, and announced that from now until September, PTW will be collecting money for ‘Breakthrough For Breast Cancer’, as his fiancee’ Chrissie is doing a 44km walk in September for the cause. Rumours are abounding of a PTW show in July, where ALL proceeds will go to this very worthy cause.
* Wheeler defeated Special Agent.
* B52 & Jack London defeated ‘Cause And Effect’ – Frantastic & ‘Big Time’ Brian Braddock.
* Red Tiger defeated Seb Drea.
* ‘Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm defeated Rich N’ Famous w/ ‘Life Coach’ John Chapman’, in what many are calling the match of the evening.
* Shabazz retained his TBW Heavyweight Title by defeating Lucian w/ Chelsey Karter in his corner.
* Nero defeated Dragon.
* Kyle Kraze and Dan Edge went to a no-contest, when Jim Brooks came down, attacked both men; and demanded PTW Owner Peter Staniforth start the PTW Hardcore Title match there and then.
* Controversy struck, in the main event. Leon X became the first ever PTW Hardcore Champion by defeating Lionheart, Jim Brooks, and Luke Lanson, but after being presented with the title belt by Peter Staniforth; Leon X was attacked from behind by Jim Brooks, with a pool cue; and a shot to the back followed a low blow with the aforementioned pool cue got a unscheduled 3 count. Peter was shocked, and Jim Brooks took the microphone, pointing out that Hardcore titles are governed by the “24-7” rule; and there was nothing the PTW Owner could legally do about it. Staniforth admitted that Jim Brooks had maybe got one over on him this time, but said Brooks “can’t do a damn thing about what I’m going to do next”, and he announced that on Saturday May 19th; Jim Brooks would be forced to defend the PTW Hardcore Title one on one… with a furious Leon X.
