Donald Trump called into Ryan Seacrest’s LA based Radio Show. The two talked about Wrestlemania and argued whether Trump or McMahon had more money. Trump went on to say he and Vince were good friends and that Trump actually wanted to wrestle McMahon but McMahon chickened out and said they’d choose wrestlers. Trump also said that this year’s Wrestlemania would be the biggest Wrestlemania ever and alot of that has to do with him being there.
Media coverage for WrestleMania 23 this Sunday, specifically the Donald Trump/Vince McMahon angle, has really spiked over the last few days. Various shows on ESPN and E! have been covering the show and Trump has been making several radio appearances promoting the show.
WWE was actually a bit disappointed not too long ago with the lack of media coverage for the Trump/McMahon angle, but obviously that has changed here in the last few days thanks to the Trump slap of McMahon at the WrestleMania 23 press conference earlier this week.
WWE is in talks with Good Morning America about having both Donald Trump and Vince McMahon on the show Monday morning with the promise that one of them will be bald.
WWE stock has been going up in recent days, possibly due to all the publicity the Donald Trump/Vince McMahon angle is getting.
